Working indoors you'll enjoy a half day of hands-on learning, connecting with nature and discovering the calming, meditative process of weaving.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:
🧺 How to create a traditional slath base,
🌿Techniques for pairing,  staking up, upsetting, waling, French randing and a very simple trac border and a pegged handle

By the end of the day, you'll take home your own beautiful handcrafted berry basket - a practical and personal reminder of your day and perfect for bramble season.

📍 Location: Eglinton Country Park
💰 Cost: £45 (includes all materials and tools)
👥 Spaces limited to ensure a relaxed and supportive experience.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and as a basic introduction to willow weaving techniques

At We Are Nature, we understand that sometimes plans change. However, as our workshops require upfront costs for materials and preparation, we have the following cancellation policy in place:

Cancellations made 14 days or more days before the workshop – You will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 14 days and 7 days before the workshop – You will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop – No refund will be given.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person. Please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to do so.
