As a former competitive figure skater and now a coach, I've experienced firsthand how skating has the power to build confidence, create lifelong friendships, and give people a true sense of belonging.Recently, I began volunteering with organizations that support individuals living with PTSD. Hearing their stories of resilience, courage, and healing made me realize that, although skating and mental health advocacy may seem like different worlds, they're both rooted in the same thing: connection. That's where the idea for Belong on Ice was born.I wanted to create more than just a skating show. I wanted to create an experience that brings people together through storytelling, music, and the incredible artistry of figure skating—while raising awareness and support for those whose lives have been impacted by trauma.Belong is a reminder that no matter where we come from or what we've been through, every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and like they belong.Thank you for being part of this journey. Your attendance helps make a meaningful difference, and I hope this performance leaves you feeling inspired, connected, and reminded of the power we have to lift one another up.— Danielle BrezinaFounder & Producer, Belong on Ice" } ] } ] ```
