After following the Severn Way to Sheinton, we head through Bannister’s Coppice, Homer and Wigwig to arrive at Thankful Harley Church for our first short stop. Then it’s on and upwards to Wenlock Edge to join the Shropshire Way and stop for lunch at Presthope. You may want to consider using a walking pole or poles. Please refer to the overview of the walls which give more detail.Good walking boots/walking shoes are essential on all of walks. Wear/carry clothing for wet and sunny weather. We can have both in the same day!Some sections of the routes may be overgrown and have nettles and brambles, so consider sleeve and trouser lengths for your own comfort.Please come prepared for the walk, with water, drinks, snacks and food as appropriate for the length, duration and effort of the walk as it is rarely possible to purchase items on route.Please also be aware that toilet facilities and seating are limited on most of the routes.Be mindful of any recent rainfall that may also make some of the routes muddy and consider using walking poles.
