Με ρίζες στη DIY σκηνή του Άμστερνταμ, ο DJ και παραγωγός Extase Urbaine έχει χτίσει μια φήμη για τα set του που αναμειγνύουν είδη και τις καινοτόμες παραγωγές του.
Πλέον με έδρα την Αθήνα, ο καλλιτέχνης περνά αβίαστα μεταξύ διαφορετικών ειδών μουσικής, από παρελθόν και παρόν, αναμειγνύοντας τα πάντα, από techno και electro μέχρι breaks και trance-y εξερευνήσεις, ή, όπως το περιγράφει εύστοχα ο ίδιος, «body music for all bodies».
Ως ένθερμος υποστηρικτής μιας πιο ανοιχτής και ποικιλόμορφης μουσικής σκηνής, το 2016 συνίδρυσε το HDE, μια κολεκτίβα αφιερωμένη στο να διευρύνει τα όρια του underground clubbing. Οι HDE βραδιές έγιναν γρήγορα από τα πιο αναγνωρίσιμα πάρτι του Άμστερνταμ, γνωστά για την πολυδιάστατη προσέγγιση τους στο dance floor.
Αν και το DJing παραμένει το αληθινό του πάθος, ο Extase ξεχώρισε με το ντεμπούτο EP του, Sacred Winds, στη Νέα Υόρκη μέσω της εταιρείας Samo. Η κυκλοφορία τράβηξε την προσοχή, καθώς βυθίζεται στα πιο σκοτεινά μονοπάτια του leftfield techno.
Αναμφίβολα, οι ταραχώδεις άνεμοι που τον περιβάλλουν δεν πρόκειται να κοπάσουν σύντομα. Με εντυπωσιακό όγκο νέας μουσικής έτοιμο να κυκλοφορήσει και επερχόμενα gigs σε μέρη που μένει ακόμη να ανακαλυφθούν, η εποχή Extase Urbaine μόλις ξεκινά.

Γεννημένη στη Θεσσαλονίκη και εδρεύει στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης. DJ και ραδιοφωνική παραγωγός αντιπροσωπεύοντας κυρίως την underground ηλεκτρονική σκηνή με Εlectro, Techno και Synth-Wave επιρροές. Ως ραδιοφωνική παραγωγός, ξεκίνησε στο αυτοδιαχειριζόμενο εγχείρημα του ΡαΣταΠανκ (Ραδιοφωνικός Σταθμός Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης) ενώ μέχρι και σήμερα αποτελεί μέλος και resident DJ του διαδικτυακού αυτό-διαχειριζόμενου σταθμού Paranoise Radio με έδρα τη Θεσσαλονίκη. Ως Dj έχει υπάρξει μέλος της αυτό-οργανωμένης ομάδας ΒΑ2037 με έδρα το Ηράκλειο η οποία και διοργάνωνε DIY live events με διακεκριμένους καλλιτέχνες παραγωγούς της industrial ηλεκτρονικής σκηνής της Ελλάδας. Έχει μοιραστεί τα decks παρέα με πλήθος γνωστών μουσικών παραγωγών και DJs
της υπόγειας μουσικής σκηνής μπλέκοντας ήχους του τότε και του τώρα σε ένα μουσικό συνονθύλευμα μελωδίας, ρυθμού και ατμόσφαιρας.

With his roots in the Amsterdam DIY scene, DJ and producer Extase Urbaine has carved out a reputation for his genre-crossing sets and innovative productions.
The now Athens-based artist seamlessly crosses genres, past and present, blending everything from techno and electro to breaks and trance-y explorations, or, as he aptly describes it, ‘body music for all bodies’.
As a strong proponent of a more open and diverse music scene, in 2016 he co-founded HDE, a collective dedicated to pushing the boundaries of underground clubbing. HDE nights quickly became among Amsterdam’s most recognized parties, known for their multidisciplinary approach to the dance floor.
While DJing remains his true passion, Extase put himself on the map with his debut EP, 'Sacred Winds,' on the NYC-based label Samo. The release has garnered attention for delving into the darker realms of techno leftfield.
Undoubtedly, the turbulent winds surrounding him won’t die down any time soon. With a compelling amount of new music ready to hit the shelves and upcoming gigs in yet to be discovered places, the Extase Urbaine era is just kicking off.

Born in Thessaloniki and based in Heraklion, Crete, DJ and radio producer, she mainly represents the underground electronic scene with Electro, Techno, and Synth-Wave influences. As a radio producer, she began at the self-managed project RaStaPank (Radio Station of the University of Crete), and to this day she remains a member and resident DJ of the self-managed online station Paranoise Radio, based in Thessaloniki.
As a DJ, she was part of the self-organized collective BA2037, based in Heraklion, which organized DIY live events featuring distinguished artists and producers from Greece’s industrial electronic scene. She has shared the decks with numerous well-known music producers and DJs from the underground music community, blending sounds of then and now into a musical amalgam of melody, rhythm, and atmosphere.
