University of Suffolk
19 Neptune Quay, Ipswich, United Kingdom
As part of the University of Suffolk Unlocked series and in partnership with Ipswich Faith and Community Forum, a Suffolk based Interfaith Organisation, this panel conversation welcomes members of the wider community, students, and staff to engage in an open dialogue about how different traditions view commitment, partnership, and lifelong union and how the understanding of marriage continues to evolve in today’s diverse and dynamic society.
We will explore the meaning and significance of marriage as a spiritual, cultural, and social milestone through shared stories and respectful conversation, reflecting on the role of faith in shaping our values around love, duty, family, and belonging.
Whether you belong to a particular faith tradition, are exploring your own beliefs, or are simply curious about different perspectives, this event offers a welcoming space to celebrate diversity, deepen understanding, and build meaningful interfaith connections through one of life’s most enduring commitments.
