- **Event Description**: The Mane Event 2025 dinner and auction is New England Equine Rescue's largest fundraising event of the year. In 2024, we rescued 44 horses and donkeys and provided them access to lifesaving professional treatment. After rehabilitation we were able to rehome 33 equines with adopters who will offer them a lifetime of love and safety. This year, we have not slowed down and have a waiting list of potential surrenders.

Rescue. Rehabilitation. Rehome. NEER North is a 501(c)3 non-profit operating since 2008 and we could not do it without support like yours. This event will raise the funds to continue our mission of helping horses, donkeys and mules in need. 

With the timing right before Thanksgiving, The Mane Event is a great opportunity to support your favorite local horse and donkey rescue, enjoy time with friends before the holiday chaos, and pick up some unique items and experiences for yourself or to use as gifts. We have over 50 auction items so far, including a Boston Bruins luxury box package for up to 21 people, hotel stays and cruise tickets, spa and massage products and services, ski and museum passes, gift baskets for your dog and horse, and many more items too come. 

Tickets to The Mane Event are $75 each or $675 per table (10% off). Tables seat 10 individuals. We are pleased to offer a plated dinner and cash bar at this event. The Mane Event dinner and auction is for guests 18 years of age or older. Rather purchase tickets by check? PLEASE NOTE: This year, there will be NO online bidding component to the event. The silent and live auction will be entirely in person. An online preview of select auction items will be available soon linked from this site. Items will continue to be added to the preview as they come in.
