The aim of this short course is to: Give the mature learner the opportunity to learn basic brick & blockwork skills to use for their own projects. The course is based on what the learner wants to learn to support their personal practical ideas. Also to give people already working in the sector the opportunity to learn additional skills to advance them in the work place.
This course is intended for beginners and you don't need any experience to participate.
You will need to bring: appropriate footwear and clothing for workshop environment and work undertaken. Toes and legs must be covered.

What precautions are in place relating to Covid 19?
If you are showing any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms in the last 14 days, please do not travel or attend the college.
The college has implemented a range of adjustments in line with Government guidelines. This includes introducing a one-way system around the building, reconfiguring rooms and ventilation, wearing face coverings in communal areas and when 2m distance cannot be maintained such as when being taught a specific skill, applying social distancing in the communal areas and in classrooms/workshops, washing hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer gel if soap and water not available.
