This conference has been developed to focus on how we can achieve this collectively in Suffolk.This conference will feature speakers with lived experience of cancer, health professionals leading the way in tackling health inequalities and University of Suffolk academics. Our aim is to bring together local organisations, businesses and individuals who are interested in being at the forefront of improving early cancer diagnosis and screening uptake in Suffolk.A full agenda will be released closer to the event, but sessions will include:· The importance of cancer screening and early diagnosis· Lived experience of a cancer diagnosis· The cervical screening process· The importance of support following a cancer diagnosis· Panel discussion hosted by Mark Murphy MBE· And more…They’ll also be a chance to network and visit stalls.This conference is funded by the Cancer Community Partnership Fund through Suffolk Community Foundation and is therefore free to attend. Lunch will be provided on the day.
