Beyond Labels: Celebrating Disability in Suffolk

This project shines a light on the lives, achievements, and challenges of people with disabilities in Suffolk, past and present.

The exhibition runs until 30 May, 10am-4.30pm (see website). It explores themes of visibility, independent living, discrimination, and how national campaigns, and social and political changes have impacted lives in Suffolk. Discover the histories of organisations, schools, and charities that work with and support local disabled people.

Made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, there is a host of accompanying walks, talks, workshops, and family activities. Visit our website for more details.
