Color our world, and celebrate diverse cultures from around the globe! Every Wednesday during our Summer Reading Program, elementary-age kids are invited to join us for a new event where they can explore and experience unique cultures and traditions from different countries.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow, graceful movements with deep breathing and meditation. It originated as a martial art but has evolved into a holistic exercise known for its health benefits. In this kids-friendly session, instructor Dan (Sharon) Song will gently introduce the basics of Tai Chi through fluid, easy-to-follow movements aimed at harmonizing the body and mind.

Dan (Sharon) Song is a gold medalist in national and international Tai Chi competitions, has trained under esteemed Tai Chi masters, and has been teaching Tai Chi to a variety of audiences for over fifteen years.

为世界增添光彩，庆祝世界各地的多元文化！世界星期三活动邀请小学生每周三参加一项全新活动，探索和体验不同国家独特的文化和传统。
太极拳是一项古老的中国传统运动，将缓慢优雅的动作与呼吸和冥想相结合。它起源于武术，但现在已发展成为一项促进全身心健康的有益运动。今天的儿童课程中，教练宋丹将通过流畅易学的动作，循序渐进地讲解太极拳的基础知识，促进孩子们的身心和谐。
宋丹是国内外太极拳比赛的金牌得主，师从德高望重的太极拳大师，拥有十五年以上面向各类人群的太极拳教学经验。
