Julie Schumacher is the author of eleven books, including the national bestseller Dear Committee Members, winner of the Thurber Prize for American Humor. Schumacher’s other works include two short story collections, a satirical coloring book, and five novels for young readers.

Louisa Hall's novels include Reproduction, Trinity and Speak. Her poems have appeared in The New Republic and The Southwest Review, and other journals, and her essays have appeared in the New York Times, LARB, Slate, The MIT Technology Review, and Texas Monthly. She has a BA from Harvard University and a PhD in English Literature from the University of Texas at Austin.
