Big Rove Ride

Get ready for BIG ROVE on Saturday, June 27, 2026 – a 36-mile summertime ride built for sunshine, scenic trails, and serious good times. Choose your start at Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City or Cedar Rapids, then rove your own way along beautiful eastern Iowa river trails to a midpoint celebration in Solon. With a flexible, dual-start format and plenty of ways to make the miles your own, this is your day to wander, roll, and soak up the summer.

From the creators of the Bacoon Ride & Pigtails, Big Rove blends laid-back adventure with party energy– cruise with friends, chase the sunshine, and finish with a well-earned Big Grove brew. However you route it, you’ll rove the trails by day and raise a glass by the end.

We look forward to sharing with you how these events grow bicycling but also play a role in funding our advocacy work at the legislature, DOT, and putting more kids on bikes with our Safe Routes to School Program.
