- **Event Description**: Please join us for our 4th Annual Cello Garden Party July 18th in our backyard garden at 1107 Rochester Ave. Come gather as early as 6:30 for social hour, then our world class cellists, Anthony Arnone, Sarah Arnone, and Rocco Arnone will play at 7:30 for about an hour! Janis and I will provide some appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks. Feel free to BYOB! Also, please bring a chair or blanket. A donation basket will be on hand for our musicians to continue this wonderful program. 
Performers will be Anthony Arnone, Sarah Arnone and Rocco Arnone. Anthony has been the cello professor at the University of Iowa for the past 25 years. He is also a composer, conductor, and writer, recently having written 2 articles for The Strad Magazine. Dr. Sarah Arnone has been teaching at Bradley University for 11 years and also plays in the cello section of the Des Moines Symphony. Rocco Arnone, aged 14, just finished his freshman year at City High. He plays the trombone (jazz band and marching band), bassoon (wind ensemble) and cello (orchestra) and is also an avid runner enjoying cross country and track at City High. He has been studying with Sarah Arnone this last year, and they all love to play music together!
The program will be announced from "the stage" but will include a diverse program of music for 1, 2, and 3 cellos.
