Neighborhood Leisure Bike Ride
Join us for a Thursday Leisure Bike Rides in the South District Neighborhood sponsored by Bicyclists of Iowa City on 5/20, 6/17, 7/22, 8/19 and 9/16 weather permitting from 6pm - 7:30pm. Rides are at a moderate pace, ~10 mph and not too long 12 miles or less.
Rides are geared towards beginners, families, and leisure ride enthusiasts to promote active living, neighborhood exploration and bringing people together.
Rides are facilitated by two Ride Volunteers. All ages welcome and helmets are required. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
The Ride Volunteers set the route in advance, one volunteer will lead while the other will trail at the end to ensure the group stays together.

Rides will start at an entrance to the Sycamore Greenway trail at our neighborhood mosaic pillars, art installation, "Grant Wood: A Neighborhood of Seasons" located across from Grant Wood Elementary School--1930 Lakeside Drive, Iowa City 52240. Parking is available at the school.
