Watch as swifts sweep and soar at high speed above Inverness Castle and the town centre, one of Inverness' most thrilling summer wildlife spectacles.Learn about their extraordinary lives: long-distance migrants that travel thousands of miles each year and spend almost their entire lives in the air. This is a rare opportunity to see them up close and discover how we can help protect them locally.Tickets are by donation, with all proceeds going towards creating new swift nest boxes to support their future in Inverness, so your visit makes a real difference.Meet at the Flora MacDonald statue in the Inverness Castle Experience Garden. Children are very welcome (must be accompanied by an adult). Bring binoculars if you have them as swifts fly high and fast!Spaces are limited, please don’t miss this chance to experience one of nature’s most amazing aerial displays.We ask for donations* for this event to help with our work. Please give what you feel you can afford. We suggest a minimum donation of £5 per person to cover our costs or £10 per person to further support our work.*Please be aware that there is a minimum donation of £1 required to book on via Eventbrite. This does not go to the Ranger Service but is to cover Eventbrite Fees.
