This is a nourishing experience designed to connect you with ancient wisdom, nature, and your own intuitive creativity.
 
During this workshop, you will learn how to responsibly harvest herbs for smudging and saining, discovering when and how to pick them for optimal potency, sustainability, and respect for the plant spirit. We’ll explore the healing and energetic properties of a variety of sacred herbs used in smudging traditions across cultures, and how these can support cleansing, protection, and intention-setting.
 
You’ll then be guided step-by-step in creating your own personalised smudge sticks and saining sticks, selecting local herbs that resonate with you and your intentions. Learn traditional bundling and binding techniques as you craft two smudge sticks to take home with you.
 
We will also work with cleansing and space clearing practices, including a guided cleansing ritual where you’ll learn how to energetically cleanse yourself, your home, and objects using smudge sticks and other simple tools. Alongside this, we’ll explore the deeper history and spiritual significance of smudging and sacred smoke rituals around the world.
 
To deepen your connection, we’ll touch on how to create your own healing herb garden at home, including guidance on growing, caring for, and working with commonly used smudging herbs.
 
You will receive:
