Saunas can improve the health of our brains. A 20-year study of more than 2,300 participants was conducted by Dr. Jari Laukkanen at the University of Eastern Finland. This study found that regular sauna use (4 to 7 times per week) at 80 degrees Celsius for 19 minutes lowered their risk for both Alzheimer's and Dementia. Saunas can help detoxify the body. Sweat, which is composed of 99% water, is primarily designed to cool the body. However, deep sweating in a sauna can help reduce our bodies' levels of lead, nickel, mercury, and chemicals-all of which are toxins commonly absorbed from daily interaction with our environments. Ilona will then gently guide you through a deeply immersive sound bath, creating a tranquil space where you can slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself. Surrounded by soothing tones, resonant vibrations, and calming frequencies, you will be invited to release tension, quiet the mind, and let go of the outside world. Allow yourself to fully surrender to the experience as the sounds wash over you, creating a profound sense of relaxation, grounding, and inner stillness. PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING: • Anything you need to be used during sauna, wild swim and after sauna - towel to sit on and one to dry off, wet shoes and/or crocks, dryrobe or other warm clothes, water. • A yoga mat • A cosy blanket (or 2).
