RYA Day Cruising (Intermediate Course)

The Day Cruising course aims to teach you to take the powerboat beyond just line of sight destinations and learn more about both traditional and modern navigational techniques including the use of a range of on-board electronics including RADAR.

You will spend time working on passage planning and pilotage skills which you will put into practice by completing a slightly longer coastal trip.

We focus on using a range of digital navigation techniques helping you get the best out of the electronic navigation equipment on board on a coastal navigation exercise and developing your skippering ability.
Ideally you will already have knowledge to Day Skipper theory standard.
