Guided by Interweave Arts artists, participants will complete the assembly of textile panels and explore how the sculpture interacts with the body. Sound elements will also be introduced, adding depth and resonance to the collective artwork.What to ExpectFinalise stitching and integration of panels into the sculpture.Refine the form – cage, skirt, or bell shape – ensuring balance and movement.Explore movement practices that embody freedom and transformation.Begin layering sound elements – spoken words, recorded phrases, or ambient tones.Details:This workshop will be held in the Interweave Arts Studio at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Launceston (just outside the Museum at Inveresk entrance).The workshop series is free to register - please note bookings are essential.This workshop is open to women and gender-diverse individuals of all ages.Be sure to join us for the final unveiling of the sculpture on Friday 6 March at our free morning tea celebration.
