# Event Details - **Event Name**: Wildlife of the Night - Educational Walk - **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 08 Jan, 2026 at 08:30 pm – Thu, 08 Jan, 2026 at 10:30 pm - **Event Description**: Join the South Gippsland Conservation Society to celebrate 30 years of Summer by the Sea!About this EventThis is a night walk along pathways from Screw Creek car park to Townsend Bluff and back to learn about the nocturnal creatures which may be seen, heard or otherwise detected in the various habitats through which the pathway passes. You will need your own transport from the Bunurong Environment Centre to the Screw Creek car park, about two kilometres. Enclosed footwear is recommended and bring warm clothing depending on the weather. Our activities go ahead if it is drizzling. However, if the weather conditions pose a threat to the safety of participants we may cancel your ticket. In this event, we will email you so please monitor your email if the weather is bad.
