- **Event Description**: Southland Astronomical is reopening for the 2025 viewing season on Saturday the 3rd of May, 7pm till 9pm.

We will have up to 2 telescopes running, along with our displays and audio visual displays up and running inside, these events will run at this stage every 2nd Saturday from the 3rd of May and will run regardless of weather.

Please remember to dress warmly, if you need to bring a torch/.light, it must be red, white light can and will ruin our night vision.
We also ask that you limit the use of your cellphone camera flash.

Location : 254 Links Rd 
Cost : $5 P/P under 10yrs free.

There are toilet's on site.
