There is one walk that I haven't done in this area before that goes past the "Giant Manuka Jungle".   From there we will continue on up to have a look at how this years planting is going and maybe spend a few minutes stomping the weeds down before we pass Jacks hut and then, depending on the weather, return via the main track, or, if it is a reasonable day we will head down the Western Ramble with its views over the Oreti River and Sandy Point.   If you have never been here before you get a totally different view of Sandy Point.
So, bring your family, bring your mother, bring the postie, bring your 2nd cousin visiting from Australia, Honk Kong, Beijing, Manilla, Los Angeles, Area 51, Honolulu, Borneo, Italy, Zimbabwe, London or Montreal (or anywhere else for that matter).
