DESIGNED FOR
If you have recently become a leader, manager, or are about to be promoted into your first management position. This is also a great course for business owners and leaders who have had no formal training.
 

LEARNING OUTCOMES
- What matters in teams – the key elements of leading high performance teams
- Leader versus manager 
- Appreciating the importance of self awareness
- Building effective communication skills, listening and feedback
- High performance model – skill/will matrix of staff
- Delegation 
- Coaching staff using the GROW model
- Dealing with conflict (assertiveness and conflict management styles)
- Importance of motivation – how do you motivate your team?

The course is highly participatory and practical. Participants will be shown the various processes, tools and techniques and then apply them individually or in small group exercises.
