HPTO Fest is back and it’s built on experience 🔥
HPTO Fest returns with two full days of non-stop automotive action, real track time, and the atmosphere it’s become known for. Whether you’re wanting to get out on track or just keen to soak it all in from trackside, this is where it all comes together.
Saturday & Sunday means maximum track time!
Both days follow the same proven structure, giving drivers consistent access and spectators constant action. Expect a flowing schedule that keeps cars moving and the track alive.
Across the weekend you’ll see:
CRUISE, SPEED, ROLL RACING & DRIFTING SESSIONS!
There’s over 15 hours of on-track action across Saturday and Sunday, with something happening all day.
This event isn’t new. HPTO Fest has been run, refined, and delivered multiple times, and 2026 marks the fifth time it’s hit the track. The structure works, the flow is proven, and the focus has always been on seat time and access.
Drivers spend more time on track and less time waiting.
Vehicle numbers are capped to keep sessions flowing and the track active.
The Family & Hardpark Zones return. Bring the family, bring the pride and joy, lock in prime positioning, and put yourself in the running for one of 20 standout awards across the weekend. This isn’t a static show. It’s about being seen and being part of the event.
The Family Zone runs on Saturday and Sunday, offering a more relaxed space alongside the on-track action.
Want more than just watching?
Passengers are welcome during Cruise With Mates sessions.
Grab a $10 passenger wristband, jump in with a mate, and experience the track first-hand. All passenger wristband proceeds are donated directly to Ronald McDonald House Southland.
Pace Taxi fast laps will be running throughout the weekend, giving spectators the chance to strap in and experience Teretonga at speed with experienced drivers.
