It's all about Shag 'n' Bal! This weekend is dedicated to all Balboa and Collegiate Shag lovers. Learn the first steps in both, improve your basics and learn new moves or get closer to your mastery. Anna & Rafał (PL) and Danka & Sirom (CZ/IT) will offer three levels for both dances:
First Steps, Curious/Ambitious and Confident.
Anna & Rafał (PL)
These two jitterbugs dance a wide variety of swing styles, but since 2020, balboa has definitely been their number one!
Ania and Rafał are scene builders and organisers devoted to sharing the love for balboa and slow ball. Together, they have placed and won at numerous international Balboa festivals.
Danka & Sirom (CZ/IT)
Danka Vyroubalova and Sirom Cazzolli are a swing dance couple who love bringing people together through Collegiate Shag, Lindy Hop, and Balboa. Based in Brno and Innsbruck, they create a warm and relaxed atmosphere where dancers can enjoy learning, connecting, and sharing the joy of swing. They have performed together at BCN Shag and won the Strictly Shag Showdown at Vilnius Shag Festival 2025.

Begin your Balboa or/and your Shag journey. Get to know the first Basic-Steps and Positions as well as some fundamental moves.
Curious / Ambitious | Balboa or/and Collegiate Shag |
Discover the joy and elegance of Collegiate Shag and Balboa in a fun and encouraging environment. Challenge yourself with new techniques and creative concepts to deepen your understanding of the dance. Ideal for dancers ready to expand their repertoire and experiment with new ideas to make dancing even more fun!
Confident | Balboa or/and Collegiate Shag |
In this level, it's all about mastering your skills. Our teachers are gonna challenge you with new variations, with tempo and with delicate leading and following. Basic concepts will get new perspectives, and complex movements will finally start making sense for you. Join this level if you are interested in growing above your limits, reviewing your basics, as well as learning some of the most complex moves and techniques.
