- **Event Description**: There’s no easy way to say this, so I’ll just say it from the heart.

The treatments in Mexico have slowed the progression of my cancer, and for that I am incredibly grateful. However, my doctors have shared that it has now begun to spread to my pancreas and inner abdominal area. They’ve tried to gently prepare me for the possibility that my time may be shorter than we had hoped.

But here’s what I know…

I am not done yet.
I am not ready to throw in the towel.

There is still too much to do, too much to see, too much peace and joy to share — and far too many people left to love. I will keep fighting with everything in me.

The truth is, none of us truly knows the exact moment when our journey takes its next turn. We aren’t guaranteed the chance to say our final goodbyes or express what’s in our hearts.

So… in true “Sheila fashion,” I’ve decided to do this differently.

Instead of waiting for a quiet memorial filled with tears and a photograph, I want to celebrate life while I’m still here to hug you, laugh with you, dance with you, and thank you myself.

I have been blessed beyond measure with people who have nurtured me, loved me, challenged me, taught me, corrected me, grown with me, and sometimes wanted to kick my butt (and probably should have!). Each of you has helped shape who I am. For that, I am deeply grateful.

I want time to reminisce.
To reflect.
To laugh loud.
To cry happy tears.
To say what matters.

Funerals can be heavy. I want music. I want stories. I want dancing under the sky. I want to be remembered for living fully, loving deeply, and embracing this wild, beautiful ride.

So let’s gather together under the theme:

Sunday, March 29, 2026, (time TBD) Continued Celebration featuring more live music at The Roddy Tree Ranch, food, drinks & fun!

There will be live music, great food, beautiful scenery, drinks, dancing, hugs, laughter, and so much love. Come dressed in whatever makes you feel free — boho, biker, tie-dye, sparkles, boots — whatever represents your own beautiful trip through this life.

Anyone traveling who needs a place to stay, we can book a really nice large Air BnB for much less than a hotel room (between $85 - $95 each couple for a 2 night stay). Anyone interested in this option, please RSVP and reach out to me with your travel dates so we can secure such arrangements in time.
