Oooppps ! Wie doch die Zeit vergeht… 40 Jahre Rockabella and the Giddyups! 

Wer hätte das gedacht als Mats Gabler und Fredl Schranz im Sommer 1985 ernsthaft beschlossen eine Band zu gründen. Es fehlte nur noch ein Gitarrist und schon konnte man am 26.04.86 das erste Konzert geben. Der Erfolg gab den Dreien recht, so musste das immerhin 6 Songs umfassende Programm an diesem Abend 3x gespielt werden. Nach Umbesetzung und Fusion mit der Rockabilly Band von Bep Neubauer ging es dann mit dem Zugang von Schlagzeuger Ferdinand Brücklmeier erst richtig los. Man spielte in wahrsten Sinne auf „Teufel komm raus“ was zum Markenzeichen des Combos wurde. Schnell wurde man in der Szene herumgereicht, bekam Arrangements in ganz Europa ohne zu vergessen woher man kam und was der Auftrag war: Rockabilly + Spielfreude, lachen und mit dem Publikum Spaß haben. 

Und genauso halten es die Jungs auch im 40. Jahr und nach knapp 1000 Auftritten in dieser Besetzung. 

Garantiert wird ein Konzert mit jeder Menge Spaß, dem Besten aus 40 Jahren und nur kurzen Verschnaufpausen. So gesehen Business as usual für die Jungs. Be there or be square!
