# Event Details - **Event Name**: Christmas Carols on Ingleborough with Mountain Accordion Man - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 20 Dec, 2025 at 09:50 am – Sat, 20 Dec, 2025 at 02:30 pm - **Event Description**: Come join us for Christmas festivities with the Mountain Accordion Man (Carmine De Grandis) and support Climbers Against CancerAbout this EventYou are invited to join a peer-led walk, hosted by BMC Yorkshire Area volunteer, Carmine De Grandis (Mountain Accordion Man) guiding the route. This social walk will explore one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks using a short, circular route which reaches the top of Ingleborough and, returning via Little Ingleborough. Four years ago the tradition started by Mountain Accordion Man to take his accordion to the top of well known hills before Christmas to sing Carols and spread joy from the great outdoors. This is a fundraising event and all donations will go to Climbers Against Cancer, a charity which raises funds for cancer research and towards projects aimed at supporting people who live with Cancer. This is a winter walk so all who attend will need to come prepared. We will monitor the weather and conditions underfoot and reserve to make changes to make sure the walk can go ahead in safety. If you play an instrument you are welcome to carry it and play it on the top (but this is at your/your instrument risk). Come ready to sing and bring a hot drink or something to share.
