Please follow the signage once you enter. There is a Silver Sign above this door listing some of the businesses inside the Factory Arts District building. There is a ground level parking lot directly across from this door. GAI@FAD is halfway between Centerpoint Brewery and Fowling Warehouse.To begin this workshop our instructors will guide you through studio safety, followed by a demonstration of the piece you will be making. Then working one-on-one alongside an instructor, we will gather molten glass from the furnace, add colorants of your choosing, then shape and sculpt molten glass. Your beautiful unique creation will have to cool down slowly and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly. T-shirts and blue jeans work well, along with closed toed shoes. No synthetic clothing. If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend out in the studio.
