Swashbuckling - fun fencing!

Have you ever wanted to be d'Artagnan, Captain Jack Sparrow, or Zorro? All these characters are expert sword fighters, and it is your chance to learn too! This class is for kids aged 5-8 and will be focused on the FUNdamentals of fencing. We will be using foam swords and learning through play. We will cover basic footwork, cuts, thrusts, parries, and maybe even some secret moves! In addition to standard fencing, we will play fun games like capture the flag, sharks and minnows, and red light/green light. Please have a parent or guardian stay at the location for the class.
The class is six weeks long, one hour per week, and all of the required fencing equipment is provided. The cost is $100, club membership is not required.
