Join staff from the Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District and Indy Urban Acres for a Native Plant Workshop to learn about native plant installation and maintenance strategies! The workshop will be held at the newest Indy Urban Acres (IUA) site located at Faith UMC, where IUA has established a 3 acre urban farm to serve the local community. The workshop will highlight several facets of native plants including the following topics:
The workshop will also include planting activities at the new farm funded by the NRCS EQIP program.
The program is funded with the generous support of a grant from the Indiana State Department of Agriculture's Clean Water Indiana program with supplemental funding from the National Association of Conservation Districts.
Attendees will be limited to 25 registrants.

When: 9:00-12 Noon on Friday 6/20. Wear appropriate outdoor attire for planting activities! Planting tools and drinking water will be provided.
