Join us as we share this message with the kids of Indianapolis and celebrate MLK Day in partnership with the Madam Walker Legacy Center! Seeds of Caring will provide 5 youth service stations as a part of Madam Walker Legacy Center’s 44th Annual MLK Day of Celebration. Activities include assembling care kits for unhoused neighbors, packing snack bags for people experiencing food insecurity, creating suncatchers for seniors to brighten their day, writing and drawing letters to city officials advocating for change in our community, and creating a reflection craft inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. In addition to the service activities, you will find activities provided by our community partners.Note: This event is larger and busier than our standard Seeds of Caring events.
