Born in 1973, he was raised in a traditional Native American home. He started dancing and singing at powwows in his preteen years, traveling across the country with his family’s drum group, White Thunder, now called Ribbon Town. His interest in art started as soon as he was able to hold a pencil, and was encouraged by family and mentors to pursue his art. In 1996, he was introduced to tattooing, and it allowed him an income in an art-based business while working on his painting skills. Today, he enjoys oil painting as modern contemporary Native American artist.
