Fundamentals 102 is a two-session class designed for photographers who already understand the basic exposure triangle and want to gain even more creative control over their images.This class builds on the foundation of shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and focus while introducing more advanced techniques for improving composition, exposure, lighting, and camera control. Students will learn how to make more intentional decisions behind the camera and solve problems creatively under real-world conditions. By exploring and practicing the same techniques professional photographers use to solve problems, you can take your photography to a whole new level.Across two sessions, we will cover topics such as:Advanced Camera SettingsManual exposure refinementExposure compensationDepth of field controlMotion blur and action freezingUsing specialty filtersWhite balance and color controlFlash PhotographyUnderstanding natural lightLens choice and perspectivePractical shooting exercises and image reviewStudents should have a basic working knowledge of their camera and be comfortable adjusting aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
