CCS January Safety Directors Forum: OSHA Crane Requirements
OSHA Crane Requirements
Late last year, OSHA issued its final rule to clarify certification requirements for crane operators and maintain the employer’s duty to ensure crane operators can safely operate the equipment. The final rule is supposed to reduce compliance burdens while still maintaining safety and health protections for workers.
Join CCS for it's January Safety Directors Forum where John Merrill of Maxim Crane Works will discuss the final rule and what it means for contractors.
The presentation will include:
How to comply
What led to this final rule
The CCS Safety Directors' Forum is a great way to network and share ideas with your peers in the construction and facilities maintenance industry. You don't have to be a safety director to attend. Everyone is welcome, so please join CCS on January 23rd from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at the CCS Office Conference Center, 8909 Purdue Rd., Suite 140 in Indianapolis for this FREE event.
About the presenter: John Merrill is the Director of Safety for Maxim Crane Works, the largest crane rental company in North America. Merrill has experience managing crane safety on a local, regional and national basis for the past 25 years.
