We'll spend a few minutes talking about the make up of butter and then we'll dive right in making butter using the old fashion churning method (using a more modern churn, of course). After you churn your butter, you'll have the chance to add spices to it to make compound butters of your choice. Expect to have fun as we add a little competition into the mix, as well. If you have a special seasoning you'd like to use, bring it along as we'll only be using dried herbs (see list below).As usual, we'll provide the class with a cheese sampling plate to snack on when you arrive and it's a BYOB! Can't wait to see you in class!Minimum class size: 8Seasoning List: Agave, Black Pepper, Cayenne, Chervil, Chili Pepper Flakes, Chili Powder, Chives, Herb Mix (Chives, Garlic, Parsley & Onion), Cinnamon, Coco Powder, Cumin, Diced Shallots, Dill W**d, Flax Seed, Garlic Powder, Herbs De Provence with Lavender, Honey, Lavendar Powder, Nettle, Onion Powder, Parsley, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Rosemary Powder, Rosemary Powder, Sea Salt, Spearmint, Sugar, Sun Dried Tomato Granules, Thyme.***Cancellation Policy *** There is a class minimum, and we do not offer refunds.We can reschedule you for free if you let us know up to a week in advance (Eg: end of day the week prior - Thursday end of day for following Thursday class). There will be a $15 re-scheduling fee if you cancel within a week of class and need to be rescheduled. You can have someone take your place for free. If you cancel within 24 hours of class, or if you are a no-show and did not call us and let us know in advance that you could not attend class, we can reschedule you for the 50% of the cost. If you have to cancel last minute and you've given every effort for someone to take your place, but it hasn't been successful, please let us know so we can try to figure something out.
