There is a Silver Sign above this door listing some of the businesses inside the CCIC building. There is a ground level parking lot directly across from this door. GAI@CCIC is halfway between Centerpoint Brewery and Fowling Warehouse.In this workshop our instructor/s will guide you through studio basics in safety and process and then give a demonstration on the hot glass furnace-worked piece you will be making. You will then have the opportunity to gather molten glass from a 2100-degree furnace. You will get to choose your colors and sculpt molten glass into a beautiful and unique creation of your own. Your creation will have to cool down slowly overnight and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly. T-shirts and blue jeans work well, along with closed toed shoes. No synthetic clothing!! NO leggings!! If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend out in the studio.
