Screening of Casablanca
On Thursday, June 6, at 6:30 PM, the Evansville Museum will host a special screening of the classic movie Casablanca. Starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, this romantic drama is set in Morocco, and was released shortly after the Allied Invasion of North Africa during World War II. Retired EVSC film studies teacher Terry Hughes will provide commentary on the film’s place in cinema history. Attendees 21 years of age and older may also enjoy a complementary French 75 cocktail as imbibed in during the film. Tickets for the show are $10 per person.
This World War II era film is shown in conjunction with the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Allied D-Day landing at Normandy, France.
