A mixture of blues, country, gospel and the English invasion of rock and roll that later was to be coined the phrase "Southern Rock." The music was filled with style and emotion and, along with Molly Hatchet, the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd were at the forefront of the movement. Named after a famous 17th century axe murderess "hatchet molly" who would behead her lovers with the hand tool Lizzy Borden made famous, the multi-platinum Molly Hatchet is best known for its mega-hit "Flirtin' with Disaster", as well as other hits "Dreams I'll Never See", "Whiskey Man", "Gator Country", and more! Joining Molly Hatchet will be one of Lincoln Amphitheatre's crowd favorites—Eighty-Sixt! Eighty-Sixt consists of Buddy and Billie Hart and their three sons, Logan Ziegler, Aaron Ziegler and Conor Hart. They have been performing together on stage for 5 years now and have had the opportunity to play a lot of great shows including opening for The Marshall Tucker Band, The Guess Who, and The Kentucky Headhunters as well as an appearance on WHAS 11’s Great Day Live.
