- **Event Description**: Our Alumnae Club is required to participate in a Panhellenic event in order to remain in Good Standing. Coachella Valley Alumnae Panhellenic’s Scholarship Luncheon is a perfect way to participate, whether you’re a CVAP member or not. It’s all about Scholarships for young women to attend college & encourage them to consider joining a Sorority. 

If you cannot attend, consider donating the price of a luncheon ($40) for a Scholarship recipient’s parent or family member.

This Luncheon will honor a girl from each of the ten public high schools in the Coachella Valley. She will be attending a 4 year University with a Greek system on campus & will receive a $5,000 scholarship. If any of the girls choose to join a Sorority & are initiated, they will receive an additional $3,000 to apply towards their Sorority expenses. 

This year’s Guest speakers are not only former scholarship recipient’s, but they’re sisters in real life AND both are Alpha Gam Alumnae (from UCLA). Vanessa Gaytan & Julianna (Julie) Gaytan look forward to sharing the benefits of joining a sorority.

Members are encouraged to wear a fancy hat or fascinator as it’s the same day as the Kentucky Derby. The scholarship recipients & parents are also invited to participate in the festive attire. Of course, wearing a hat or fascinator is optional.
