- **Event Description**: In preparation for a tournament we are hoping to hold at Pioneer in late October, I’d like to hold one workday each month between now and then. This next Saturday, as well as September 26th and then another Saturday in October with date TBD. 

Items to address:

- Erosion/runoff borders for teepads 2, 7, 14 and 18. I will have material prepped and ready for this.

- Install two more benches - hole 5 and hole 18. 

- General pruning throughout the course of honeysuckle with hedge trimmers….basically every hole on the front 9. 

- Cut down small honeysuckle stumps from original cut-in to ground level. Hole 4 left, 10 left and 12 long come to mind first. 

- Add gravel to steps leading down to 15 tee and the steps just beyond it as well. 

- Add mulch in low spot near 15 long green. 

- Weedeat the following areas:
2 immediate fairway just below teepad
3 immediate fairway just below teepad & between baskets
7 along creek by short pin 
8 right side of fairway below drainage pipe 
9 mouth of the green 
10 all of it…
11 all of it…
12 both sides of fairway 
13 everything in the woods by the pins
14 both sides of fairway 
15 short right landing zone and inside creek fingers 
16 all of it….
17 where needed 
18 all of it…

The more hands we have the more we can accomplish. The weedeating looks like a lot but I promise it’s quick work with help! The growing season is winding down, so if we can address these items now it’ll make future workdays much more productive for the things needed to ensure the course is in tip top shape for the tournament.
