The Greatest Garage Sale Ever is a one woman comedy cabaret featuring original characters and songs by Danielle Anderson of the folk music sensation Danielle Ate the Sandwich. The interactive show features bizarre yet endearing characters celebrating the power of nostalgia to remind us who we are and what we’ve lost, and features catchy songs that will have you singing your way out of the theater.

About Danielle Ate the Sandwich:

Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the stage name of Danielle Anderson, a singer/songwriter, recording artist, and comedic performer based in Kansas City, MO. A self taught performer and musician, Danielle grew a fanbase with her DIY videos on Youtube and from touring the US extensively from 2009-2018. Danielle’s songs and performances are a shared experience, celebrating grief, humor and happiness.

Danielle has released seven full length albums of original music, with her 8th set to release in 2025. Since 2016, Danielle has hosted The 24 Hour Album, an annual songwriting experiment that brings fans inside the songwriting process, creating an album together in just 24 hours. In 2021, she developed an online songwriting course called ‘Life as a Songwriter,’ teaching adults the art of songwriting.

‘The Greatest Garage Sale Ever’ is Danielle’s first one woman stage show and venture into comedy. It combines Danielle’s love of songwriting, and creating and performing in character. Danielle is a Charlotte Street Studio Resident (2023-2025) and an ArtsKC Inspiration Grant Recipient.
