Known for their high energy rock anthem style cover sing along shows and fronted by vocal powerhouse and front woman, Kandy Xander, The Nomads perform high caliber shows spanning decades of rocks including  covers by Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, Aerosmith, Joan Jett and even their own Michael Jackson inspired rock mash-up!

?The Nomads were recently voted 2nd place for BEST BAND in the Sierra Sun’s Best Of North Lake Tahoe & Truckee 

?The Nomads were also voted best band  when they participated at the 2023  Guitar Strings vs Chicken Wings at Palisades Tahoe, put on by the Tahoe Institute  of Natural Sciences.

Past show highlights include their annual SnowFest Concert & Fireworks production. They've also stunned crowds at  Sunnyside's Rock the Barge Concerts (performing on a floating barge on Lake Tahoe),  several Made In Tahoe Festival shows at Palisades Tahoe, New Year's Eve shows at OVL and The Dubliner, Crystal Bay Casino’s Local Series, Truckee Thursdays, as well as, a crowd favorite at River Ranch’s Bring the Music Back Concert Series.
