Kick off the new year with apples, tradition, and a little friendly competition! Our January TRASH meeting will celebrate all things cider with a special wassailing talk and our TRASH Cider Competition

We’ll be joined by **Mike from A Few Bad Apples**, who will share the history and rituals of **wassailing** — the age-old tradition of blessing apple trees and celebrating the cider harvest — along with insights into making great cider at home.

We’re thrilled to host our TRASH Cider Competition, judged by BJCP-certified judges
If you participated in the Swope’s Farm cider buy, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase what you made! 🍾
But even if you didn’t take part in the cider buy, **any homemade cider is welcome to enter — the more the merrier!

After the wassailing and competition, we’ll open things up for a homebrew share — so bring a few bottles or growlers of your latest beer, mead, or cider to pass around and enjoy with the group.
