We're Going on a Nature Hunt Workshop for Wee Ones

Join us Wednesday, July 16th from 10:00 am-11:30 am for our second July Workshop for Wee Ones. This fiber art workshop and farm experience is especially suited for children 8 and under, but children of all ages are welcome. To begin the experience, guests will learn about alpacas through various activities. Next, guests will enjoy storytime as they snack on homemade alpaca sugar cookies. For this workshop, we will be reading We’re Going on a Nature Hunt by Steve Metzger. After story time, the children will make wet felted treasure pouches and have an opportunity to pet an alpaca. Then we will go on a nature hunt in the pollinator garden where guests will search for treasures to place in their pouches. Finally, we will wrap up the experience with some sensory play in our “farm play” stations. The fee for this workshop is $15 per child and accompanying adult. For families registering multiple children, a small discount will be applied. We are requiring a minimum of 10 registered participants (children) to hold this event. If we need to cancel the event due to low attendance or for any other reason, full refunds will be awarded.

*Navigation Note: Occasionally GPS takes guests to our neighbor's house. If you see a big, gray/brown barn with Brew City Pub on the side when you pull in, you are in the wrong place. Go a bit further down the road, and you will see us on the right (white house with red roof). We have a long drive with alpacas out front. Our house number, 13111, is on the telephone pole.
