Chainsaw Basic Training - 2026

Help us clear trails, remove deadfalls, clear timber, and stockpile wood for campfires and heating buildings! Operating a chain saw is inherently hazardous. Proper maintenance, personal protective equipment, and correct technique are critical components of safe chain saw operation. Potential injuries can be minimized by using proper personal protective equipment.

A representative from STIHL USA will be at the training on Saturday to talk about new STILH products, equipment, and performing proper routine saw maintenance. Be prepared to perform routine maintenance on your chainsaw.
