Almost everyone at our event agreed that the whole nation needed to be told the truth about the state of our climate and nature. And that we all need to take action.  

If you haven’t seen the Peoples Emergency Briefing film we strongly recommend it. It is designed to be viewed in a community context so it is not available online but there are local screenings in Otley on 19 June, Addingham on 3 July and others - see: https://www.nebriefing.org/the-film 

Whether you have seen the film or not, we invite you to the 
Clarke Foley Community Hub Ilkley LS29 9DZ on Monday 6th July 7.30pm - 9pm to maintain and build on the momentum:
•	We will summarise the key points and the asks.
•	You can ask questions, express your views & concerns
•	Find out what Climate Action Ilkley/other groups are doing.

This is a free event with coffee, tea and maybe even cake. Prof John Marsham, atmospheric scientist at Leeds University, will be there. Please register for a free ticket
