Are you an amateur artist wanting to enhance your skyscape techniques and bring more atmosphere, depth and confidence to your painting?

Your tutor, Jerry Smith, is ready to welcome you for a full day of expert guidance, demonstrations and hands‑on practice using acrylic paints. This workshop is designed for artists who already have some painting experience and is not suitable for beginners.

⭐ What You’ll Do

Follow a structured, step‑by‑step process to paint a coastal skyscape

Create a charcoal sketch to establish composition

Develop an outline drawing and underpainting

Mix and apply sky colours using acrylics

Mix and apply cloud colours with attention to form and light

After lunch, explore beach, cliff and sea elements to complete your scene

    Mark‑making and handling edges

    Understanding the painting process from start to finish

If you can confidently handle a paintbrush and understand basic acrylic techniques, you’ll feel right at home. Jerry will guide you through each stage with personalised support.

Refreshments throughout the day (excluding lunch)

You’ll leave with a finished (or nearly finished) coastal skyscape and a deeper understanding of expressive sky and cloud painting.
