How Does Your Saddle Behave?
LM Saddles and Rosca Horsemanship are excited to invite you to attend their joint charity event, ‘How Does Your Saddle Behave?’ kindly hosted by Gil Riley Equine Vets, Dale Abbey, Derbyshire on Sunday August 24th 2025 at 10.00am.
The first workshop brought to you by Ross Cooper of Rosca Horsemanship and Jemma Aigner of LM Saddles and Balancing Harmony will combine discussion and visual presentation as we take you through a dynamic approach to saddle fit, from reading behavioural feedback of the horse to saddle fit and function and the wide ranging impacts that the saddle can have.
Together, Ross and Jemma will discuss a whole-horse approach to saddle fit, including:
- Saddle fitting in a dynamic and holistic approach
- What to look for in saddle fit design
- Identifying behavioural responses
- How to create positive associations and remedy negative experiences
- The influence of saddle fit on biomechanics, spinal integrity and movement
- What to look for in the horses body
The workshop will conclude with a question and answer session.
