- **Event Description**: Come join the Barony of Highland Foorde for another year of Highland Havoc! This year’s theme is Horses & Harvests. We hope that the good gentles who join us will be inspired by the seasonality of this theme, and how it connects to agriculture, forestry, historic foodways, and more -- without being bound to a single time or place.

Keeping in line with our traditions, we will have equestrian, archery, and Arts & Science activities. There will be a team Target Archery and Equestrian challenge. More details on all activities to follow.

SCORES information forthcoming. If you need any modification, cancellation, or have an issue with your SCORES reservation, please email EVENTS@sca.org

Checks can be sent as payment if you elect not to pay through SCORES. Checks should be made out to: SCA, Inc. Barony of Highland Foorde. 

Please mail payment to: Samantha Van Rens (Baroness Adele Lochlane) 572 Binford Ct Frederick MD 21703. No checks will be accepted after 11/05/2026. No mail in registrations using cash will be accepted per guidelines
 
Refund Request:  The Exchequer (Baroness Adele Lochlane) must receive refund requests in writing no later than five days after the event ends per Kingdom approved guidelines. If the reservation was canceled on SCORES, please send your written refund request to assist the Exchequer in completing accurate refund requests. No refund shall be issued until the event books have been closed and all reservation checks have cleared. Use email exchequer@highlandfoorde.atlantia.sca.org or adelelochlane@gmail.com 

Late arrivals: Please plan to arrive by 2 pm on Saturday, November 14th. If you plan to arrive after that, please coordinate with our Reservationist for trolling in. Use email exchequer@highlandfoorde.atlantia.sca.org or adelelochlane@gmail.com 

This is a primitive site with semi-rugged terrain and no running potable water. Some beverages will be available on site. We strongly recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes.

There are handicap accessible portable toilets. There are no buildings, only a covered pavilion and tents. 

Parking on site is limited. We recommend carpooling. There is no designated handicap accessible parking. 

Alcohol is permitted in period containers. No glass bottles.

Well behaved dogs on leashes are allowed on site. Please clean up after them appropriately. 

Please contact the Event Steward at havoc@highlandfoorde.atlantia.sca.org if you plan to bring a day shade. Space is limited. 

There is no merchanting at Havoc 2026.

Newcomers should contact Lady Florie of Highland Foorde and m’Lady Rachel of Highland Foorde are the Baronial Chatelaine (officer who helps newcomers) and Deputy. You can reach them at chatelaine@highlandfoorde.atlantia.sca.org with any questions or concerns. If you're new and don’t have suitable clothing, don’t worry—loaner garb (Gold Key) is available to help you feel part of the experience from the start. Please feel free to ask at the entrance about this if you'd like assistance.
